Natural Styling

i've been sprucing up certain rooms in our home for months and the first "finished" one on the list is our master bath.  it's not the biggest of bathrooms, but i'm happy to have it.  i find that small rooms are sometimes the most fun to decorate, because it doesn't take a lot to have a big impact.  you may remember this mood board i made for it a few months ago.  since then - i've painted it white, added the two industrial storage pieces, and some brass accents.  re-styling it with lots of natural elements made for the biggest change though, starting with that hunk of wood i picked up at the terrarium building class...

i've had this vintage velvet-lined shadowbox for over a year and have been
waiting to find something unique enough to frame within it.  this wood piece
and two baby air plants from eco flora were the perfect fit.
i added a few fern frawns from my backyard
i love the feel + storage this metal cart brings
and the top acts like a tray, which keeps the kids from sliding stuff off as easily
a vintage agate slice makes the perfect soap tray
a white star fish, vintage brass candlestick and a picture of baby cole.
i also love this metal wall unit so much more in my bathroom,
than i ever did in our office, it's the perfect place to store and
organize everything from jewelry to nail polish.

other sources: spa striped towels and hammam stripe hand towel from west elm,
wall sconces and wall drawer unit vintage pottery barn, jayden three tiered metal shelf from
world market, faux snakeskin frame from target, and lemon hand wash from c.o. bigelow
